A “Pizza Joint?”
From today’s installment of DailyCandy:
EAT
Slice, the Perfect Food Opens
What: Look, picky, a new West Village outpost of the uptown pizza joint.
Why: Organic thin-crust pies with options like gluten free, vegan, lactose intolerant, and hormone-free chicken. And NY vino and artisanal beers.
I’m sure the pizza is good, and yes, it’s good to reduce our meat consumption and be more ethical consumers. I’m not against this restaurant itself, and for the record, I do enjoy DailyCandy.
But to my mind, it’s just not right to call a place a “pizza joint” when the description of it is…well, see above. Right? Or am I crazy?
